The Environmental Chemistry Student Symposium (ECSS) is an entirely student organized and
run symposium
designed to foster interdisciplinary interactions between undergraduate
and graduate scientists and engineers doing environmental research. Students
from multiple disciplines will present their research to the university
environmental community. The symposium is sponsored by the Center
for Environmental Chemistry and Geochemistry.
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations as well as photo contest entries
are no longer being accepted.
A detailed schedule
of
the symposium, including links to abstracts, is now available.
The symposium will be open to the public. However, we will only accept abstracts from
students engaging in environmental research. The 2005 ECSS
will be held in the Earth-Engineering Sciences
Building on the University Park campus of Penn State.
Any questions about the 8th Annual Environmental Chemistry Student Symposium can be directed
to: Alexis Navarre and
Joel Moore, co-chairs of this year's symposium.
