The Environmental Chemistry Symposium committee would like to extend an invitation to students from other campuses to attend and/or present research at this conference.

In addition to the Friday afternoon/Saturday oral and poster sessions, students can sign up for laboratory tours which may include environmental engineering, geosciences, soil biochemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, soil sciences, astrobiology, and materials science.

To apply for funding to cover travel and lodging expenses, interested students should send their name, campus, major, a brief (<500 words) statement of interest (including what labs you might be interested in touring), and 2 academic references (names, position and contact information) to Courtney Turich at cturich@geosc.psu.edu or 310 Deike Building, University Park, PA 16802. Please also write "ECS" in the subject heading.
