Presentation
The following criteria will be used to judge posters:
I. Background Information, Prior Research

Relationship to previous work shown
-
Relevant references made to literature
II. Problem and Hypotheses
-
Research question and hypothesis stated clearly
-
Originality shown
III. Materials and Methods
-
Measurement and data collection procedures provided
-
Processing of data/statistical analysis described and appropriate
IV. Results and Discussion
-
Data tables/graphs
-
Data are interpreted for reader
-
Appropriate conclusions drawn and explained
-
Conclusions do not go beyond data presented
V. Significance, Applications, Further Research
-
Results related to other studies or extended to other areas
-
Implications for scientific and/or human importance made
-
Future research suggested
VI. Presentation
-
Poster well organized, easy to follow
-
Fonts are large enough (at least 24pt font size)
-
Text short, not long solid paragraphs
-
Uses tables, graphs, data, photos, drawings, etc. advantageously
-
Everything easy to read; no data and text overload
-
Technical level appropriate for interdisciplinary scientific audience

Poster can be easily understood without additional explanations from presenter
