The Environmental Chemistry Student Symposium (ECSS) is an event organized and run by students at Penn State. Our goal is to foster interactions between graduate and undergraduate scientists and engineers engaged in environmentally relevant research. Students from multiple disciplines present their work to the environmental community of Penn State and regional educational institutions. The symposium is sponsored by the Center for Environmental geoChemistry and Genomics.
We are currently accepting Abstracts and submissions for our Photo and T-shirt contests. The deadline for all submissions is February 24th 2012. Check out the Submissions page from the menu above. We have updated the 2012 Symposium Schedule. Presentation and session titles will be announced soon. It's with great pleasure that the ECSS planning committee announces Dr. Jizhong Zhou and Dr. Anne Thompson as the 2012 ECSS Keynote Speakers! Please visit our Keynote Speakers page for more information on our speakers. It's that time again where we gear up for another great symposium! The 15th annual ECSS will be March 30 - 31, 2012.
